A Family Visits Mt Blanc with their Dog
This series was made on a hike in France near Mt. Blanc. We had taken the mountain train from St. Gervais-les-Bains and took over 600 photographs of our fellow travelers hiking alongside the Bionnassay Glacier. The goal of the project was to create a narrative about traveling with these informal groupings of fellow travelers. After we came back to Chicago we edited the project down and concentrated on a particular family. We appreciated the way the young sisters looked upon Mt. Blanc in silence.
